Terms and Conditions of Sale


These terms and conditions of sale apply to all purchases from this website. By purchasing from our website you are deemed to have accepted these terms of sale.

Any variation to the terms will be effective immediately upon posting of the amended terms of sale on the website.

All prices are stated in New Zealand Dollars (NZ$). 

Purchases made through this website can currently only be delivered to addresses worldwide. Tracking is only available in New Zealand. 

Availability: As all of our produsts are made to order it can take 2-3 dats before your item is ready to be shipped out. however, if it is needed urgently please let us know and we will try to send it out the same or the next day after ordering.   AJ’s Button Workroom sells products in good faith and stands by its responsibilities under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

AJ’s Button Workroom has made every effort to ensure the content of this website is current, accurate, and complete.  If you find an error, we will be grateful to you for bringing it to our attention.


Your Contact Details

When making a purchase we need you, the customer, to provide us with accurate contact details, including your postal address, email address, and contact telephone number. AJ’s Button Workroom will not accept responsibility for any delivery failure if any of these details are incorrect.    


Payment Methods

We offer customers a range of payment methods.  In all cases, purchases will be sent to the customer as soon as payment has been confirmed.  If for any reason payment is not received within 7 days of the order being placed, the order will be cancelled. We will however do our best to contact a customer before cancelling any order.  


Despatch & Delivery of Goods

You can request delivery by courier (we use New Zealand couriers), or arrange to pay online then collect your purchase from our Clarkville workroom in person.

Where courier delivery has been requested, confirmed orders will be made and sent out to you within 3 business days by courier.  If for any reason we can't fill your order during this time period, we will do our best to contact you to advise you of the delay.

Estimated delivery time is 1 to 2 working days from the time your order is sent, but this isn't guaranteed. Delivery to rural or remote areas may take longer.

From time to time the business closes for a few days (to allow staff to take leave etc). Where possible we will post a notice on the website advising closure dates and revised processing and delivery times.


Returns and Refunds

Please choose your purchases carefully as we will not refund your purchase, or exchange products if you change your mind.   

If however you find that there is a genuine problem with any product you have purchased from us, please contact us immediately and we will take all reasonable steps, including repair, replacement, or refund, to remedy the problem. 

If we offer to repair, replace, or refund your purchase, the original item must be returned to us first.  Depending on the circumstances, we may offer to reimburse the reasonable costs of returning a defective item to us, but this is at our discretion and is not guaranteed.

The return of any faulty or incorrect goods must be made within 28 days of purchase.


Product Depiction & Colours

We have done our best to ensure that our product images and descriptions are accurate however the very nature of the product means that it can be difficult to produce an image with accurate colours.  Customers should therefore read the product descriptions carefully before making a purchase.  We are also more than happy to answer any questions you might have about our products prior to making a purchase.
